Benchmark Development ProgramOur driving principle is to create benchmarks that are universally used and respected by consumers, reviewers and the industry, and we have been doing exactly that since 1997. The Benchmark Development Program (BDP) is a Futuremark initiative for building partnerships with hardware and technology manufacturers. The objective of the BDP is to create relevant and impartial benchmarks by working in close co-operation with program members. We provide members with specifications and regular development builds of new benchmarks then evaluate member feedback to improve the software. This open process of co-operation with all members produces benchmarks that reliably provide consistent, vendor-neutral results to the benefit of both industry and consumers. Benefits of membershipBy joining a benchmark development program you will play a critical role in the development of our benchmarks, from first specification to final delivery.
